 China Carving Art Festival was sponsored by China Professional Committee and Chinese Sculpture Magazine. It has been held 8 times in different cities of China since 1992. It aims to promoting the developments of traditional carving industry. In every festival, there was a international wood or stone carving symposium. Through 15-20 days cooperation between Sculptors and the local craftsman, wonderful sculptures were created, craftsman could learn a lot of different concepts from artists, and artists could also get the oppotuniries to communicate with others.
